Epheria Caravel ship gear of green grade were introduced with The Great Expedition Update on 23 October 2019.
They are important for several reasons:
- Ship gear has a great impact on the barter and battle capability of your ship.
- +10 green grade ship parts are required to make the blue grade ship gear.
- +10 blue grade ship parts are required to make the next tier of ship (Carrack Advance or Balance).
Ship Gear Increases Ship Stats:
- Cannon: Damage & Durability
- Plating: Weight Limit& Rations
- Figurehead: Speed
- Sail: Turn
- All Ship Parts:smaller amounts of Weight Limit & Rations

Price ranges from 7 to 9 million Silver for each part.
Enhancement is fairly easy and requires more Tidal Black Stones.
Green Grade Ship Part Enhancement:Epheria Caravel
Do You Feel Lucky??
Enhancement for the green grade Caravel ship parts is much easier than the blue grade Caravel ship parts. (70% Enhancement Chance vs 30% Enhancement Chance to obtain +1.) The black stone cost is also much lower.
Use failstacks to increase your enhancement chance.
All 4 ship parts need to be enhanced to +10 in order to create the blue grade versions. (And the blue grade versions have to be upgraded as well, in order to make a Carrack.)
Tidal Black Stone
Tidal Black Stones are used to enhance all ship gear. Enhancement levels 1-5 require 1 Tidal Black Stone per enhancement attempt. Levels 6-10 require 2 Tidal Black Stones.

The enhancement level does NOT drop if the enhancement attempt fails. YAY the Crons are saved!!
Max Durability -10 Upon Failure
Restore 10 Max Durabilty with the same base-level gear you are enhancing. Artisanâs Memory can be used with the base-level gear to restore 50 Max Durability. You can also use Memory Fragments instead of the base-level gear.
Agris Essence â Pity Enhancement System
Agris Essence also applies to life mastery clothes. Each time an enhancement fails, the Agris Essence builds. When the Agris Essence is full, the enhancement is guaranteed.

Basically throw-away gear. The blue sailboat gear that you can get off the CM is even better than specialized green gear for the Caravel. This should never be the case, especially when you will purge this gear set to get the next tier of gear.
