In devastating news for reality TV fans, Love Island UK stars Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have split, ending their five year relationship.
The pair met on the British reality series in 2019, welcoming a daughter early last year and becoming engaged six months later.
The news of the breakup was revealed on Instagram, with the couple, both 25, sharing statements on their social media. “Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this,” began Molly-Mae in a written statement posted to Instagram stories. “After five years of being together, I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.”
“I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end. I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.”
Meanwhile, Tommy took a similar, but slightly shorter angle: “I am heartbroken to share that Molly & I have decided to end our relationship. The past 5 years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi, & I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority.”
Both Molly and Tommy ended their statements by asking for privacy during “this difficult time”.

Why Did Molly Mae and Tommy Fury Break Up?
Fans eager to know what happened between the once loved-up couple have already begun speculating about the reason for their split. In particular, rumours have centred around Molly’s use of “I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.”
Vulture has suggested Fury’s “antics”—including partying with Chris Brown and another woman, and frequently leaving Molly alone while he pursues a boxing career—are to blame. No specifics have been given. Stylecaster, however, did not shy away from reporting rumours that Fury was cheating on Hague “months before their break-up”. Tommy had been seen in November dancing at a nightclub in Dubai with a woman who touched his face.
The shock announcement comes only weeks after the pair celebrated the anniversary of their engagement, which took place in July 2023. Molly celebrated the milestone on social media, writing: “One year ago today I was tricked into going on a fake brand trip on which the love of my life would ask me to marry him.” This was also shortly after the pair celebrated their five year anniversary as a couple.
After finding love on the 2019 season of Love Island UK, Molly-Mae and Tommy have found success in further careers. As well as being a reality star, Molly is a prominent YouTuber and until last year, was the creative director of clothing brand Pretty Little Thing.
